The Return of the Premier League

This weekend sees the return in the Barclays Premier League with this season promising to be more competitive than ever. With a few weeks left in the transfer window, teams are still trying to get the players that they want before it closes until January. Here is our low down on some of the teams who are favorites to win.

Manchester United

With today’s announcement from no other than Stormzy and Adidas that Paul Pogba is returning back to his former club for a record transfer fee of over 89million GBP. This shows a serious intent from United to win the league this year. With United also signing Bailly from Villarreal, they have strengthened in important areas. Will Zlatan also make an impact, well after 2 games he has already scored twice, can he succeed in Manchester?

Chelsea

Chelsea football club have been relatively quiet in the transfer market but still some signings are expected to be made. New Italian coach Conte is reportedly happy with the squad and only needs a couple more players for him to believe they can win the league. The biggest transfer Chelsea made was when they purchased Premier League winner Kante from Leicester City. Kante was crucial in the midfield area, add this with the other great players in the squad then there is no reason why Chelsea cannot compete for the league this year.

Liverpool

Liverpool to some are not title contenders but with Klopp as the manager and a proven ability to beat any team then these must still be taken serious, at least for the first few months of the season. Can the new signings Sadio Mane from Southampton, Georginio Wijnaldum from Newcastle especially make an impact. Klopp has also released many players to ensure his squad is now full of talent and he is also expected to make another signing before the window closes.

Manchester City

Pep Guardiola has been busy this summer purchasing a number of summer of the world’s best youth talent. The list below shows some of the players added to the Manchester City squad. This team have to be considered as serious title challengers as well as possibly the Champions League.

Ilkay Gundogan (Borussia Dortmund)
Nolito (Celta Vigo)
Leroy Sane (Schalke 04)
Marlos Moreno (Atletico Nacional)
John Stones (Everton)

Arsenal

Each year the Arsenal fans have asked Arsene Wenger and the board to purchase the best players in order to compete with the likes of Manchester United and City.

Granit Xhaka is the only real standout player brought in this summer, will that be enough to keep the Arsenal fans pleased, we doubt it.

For the best way to put your money on who should win then we recommend you . Who do you think will win the league? Who will be the standout signings this year, we would love to hear your thoughts.
